The Challenge
The Ladies Oaks Race Day is a high-traffic, multi-zone event featuring diverse spaces ranging from high-end VIP enclosures to massive public lawns and beer gardens.

Our Solution: A Three-Phase Cleaning Strategy
To tackle the immense scope of the venue, we broke our operations down into 3 phases.
Phase 1: Pre-Event Precision
Before the first guest arrived, our pre-clean crews were on-site ensuring every activation area was race ready. We conducted deep vacuuming, wiped down all seating, and refreshed amenities.
Phase 2: Live Event Operations
As the races kicked off and the ‘Party After the Last’ began, our team shifted into live-maintenance mode. Guided by a dedicated on-site Event Supervisor, our crews were strategically divided into distinct operational zones:
- Public & Middle Areas: Continuous floor patrols, rubbish collection, and constant monitoring of public toilets.
- High-Traffic Entertainment Zones: A dedicated team of 5 cleaners managed the expansive grass areas in front of the Red-Hot Garden Party, The Pagoda, and back-of-house establishments.
- VIP & Premium Spaces: Dedicated CMBM team members maintained the Champagne Garden, Atrium, Members Area, and Chairman’s Club, to ensure a premium environment for VIP guests.
- Waste Management: Dedicated cleaners focused exclusively on emptying 120-litre wheelie bins to prevent overflow and maintain hygiene across the Parade Ring Terrace and Main Stage.
Phase 3: The Midnight Hustle (Overnight clean) & Venue reset
The dedicated professional cleaning services team hit the grounds after the venue was cleared. The team collected all remaining rubbish across concrete and grass areas, emptied the wheelie bins, and comprehensively hosed down external tiles, tables, chairs, and public amenities.
After the external grounds were cleared overnight, a specialised detailing team conducted a comprehensive facility reset.
This involved the final transfer of waste to industrial bins, picking up leftover debris from the gardens, and deep cleaning. This ensured the venue was completely restored and ready for its next function.
