CMBM have supported the opening of the new $120 million Bundaberg Brewed Drinks brewery with internal and external cleaning services.

The iconic Australian drinks brand faced the monumental task in preparing their 22,000sqm, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility on Kay McDuff Drive in Bundaberg’s South for a grand opening, which was attended by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese

The new facility, which boasts triple the size of the previous brewery, required a comprehensive cleaning approach to ensure it was in pristine condition for the event.

Read on to find out how we did it.

CMBM Facility Services were entrusted with the responsibility of all internal and external cleaning tasks for the large site. Recognising the significance of the event, CMBM executed a thorough cleaning strategy that included high pressure roof washing and detailed cleaning of external windows.

This attention to detail extended to the interior of the facility, where a comprehensive detail clean was carried out.

Our cleaning team ensured that every aspect of the facility, from the expansive production areas capable of producing 850 bottles per minute and 33,000 cases daily, to the 48,000-litre brew tanks, adhered to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene come opening time.

Prime Minister Albanese noted the scale of the project:

“[The facility] has an innovation centre, large storage and cold room facilities, a laboratory as well as manufacturing and processing equipment.”

CMBM’s ability to scale our operations to meet the demands of the brewery were pivotal to ensuring quality cleaning outcomes for the opening day.

As the curtains closed on the grand opening of Bundaberg Brewed Drinks’ new $120 million brewery, the role of CMBM in this landmark event stood out.

Our comprehensive cleaning approach for the 22,000sqm facility was not just about meeting the high expectations set for a visit by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese; it was about setting a new benchmark in industrial cleanliness and efficiency. The thorough cleaning of every corner of the site, from the vast production areas to the massive brew tanks, showcased our ability to adapt and expand our services for large-scale industrial needs.
